Galleries at Pendleton Art Center!
My studio at Pendleton is now
closed: May 28, 2008
You may view my photographic collection in its entirety here on the web!
Take a brief tour of
Pendleton Art Center by viewing the quicktime movie.
A dream come true, Jeff Ball Photography has a new home at
the
Pendleton Art Center in Ashland, KY. The decision became
all too obvious to locate in the artist community of eastern Kentucky.
The Pendleton Art Center is a glorious concept given birth in Cincinnati
nearly 14 years ago by Mr. Jim Verdin. The vision was spectacular and
the seeds of success are spreading to Ashland, KY. Cincinnati's
Pendleton is now home to 200 artists in the 8 story building with annexes.
The center in Ashland is the third, and what appears to be, the final
Pendleton Art Center. To find out more about the center in Cincinnati
and its history, please see the link here:

"...I have never seen photographs like this before!"
...studio visitor
There are many reasons to be excited about Pendleton; it
provides the opportunity to be around other artists on a regular basis to
enhance learning and skill development, it offers a fixed location for
my artwork to be viewed and purchased, it will become a major economic
development tool for the city and region, and the educational
opportunities are endless with classrooms being prepared on-site. The
Grand Opening for the second phase was held September 1, 2005. The center
has now added a cafe, framing shop, gourd artist, and my landscape
photography. There are over 40 artists now in the Ashland Pendleton
Art Center (please
click here for a directory of artists at Pendleton Ashland). The studio will also offer me an opportunity to hold
"special invitation open house" events as well as private presentations by
appointment.

I
highly recommend a visit to the center as there is fabulous artwork on
display. There is a wide variety of artistic mediums at the center with more
on the way. Pendleton has regular open house hours on the first
Friday and Saturday of each month. On Friday the hours are 5-9 p.m.
and Saturday from 12-4p.m. First Friday is a highly energetic evening
of entertainment and the arts with over 400 visitors in
attendance.
I hope you get a chance to
visit the studio and the Pendleton Art Center. I think you will find
the center a tremendous fine art resource for the region.
The studio features two distinct galleries with one
focusing on color photography and the other featuring my latest in black and
white. The two galleries feature professional lighting to enhance the
viewing of the artwork. I hope you can make a visit to the galleries
whenever you are in the Tri-State area.
Thanks for visiting and take
care.
